Tomato

I was torn between two possible blips today - this tomato, or a photo of some rooftops with a lovely blue sky. But the rooftops shot had some areas of very deep shadow, so I went with the tomato. I was playing around with different exposure compensation values to get the muslin that I sometimes use looking properly white. All good fun!

In other news, yesterday's blip (and a couple of alternative shots of the cans) provoked a few stinging comments about Frome's 'vintage' shops on Facebook. As far as I'm concerned, I would far rather see a town full of 'vintage' and other quirky, individually-run shops than it turning into Everytown. Frome is individual, arty and a great place to live, and I'm proud to call it home. So there!
