Cans

There are quite a few 'vintage' shops in Frome now, most of them in the St Catherine's area but this one is on the main road into the town centre. These cans caught my eye, particularly as I'm focusing on still life and lighting for my photography course. I really like the look of the old cans and the differences in tones. Does this count as a 'found' still life?

In other news, Nigel, the tutor, has suggested some photographers to investigate: Lee Miller for her use of the rule of thirds; Garry Winogrand for his street photography; and Alison Jackson for her use of high ISOs to hide the fact that she uses celebrity look-alikes.
