Thursday drama

A bit of unexpected drama this afternoon with a trip to hospital - in an ambulance - with a friend from work. It transpires that she had a water infection but she was in so much pain and she's not remotely one to complain. No flashing blue lights but straight through to triage when we arrived and then into a cubicle. To cut a long story short, the nurses were lovely and very efficient, the doctor was not. We then had various shenanigans with prescriptions, cars and keys but all is now settled and where it should be. Definitely a day when you know who your friends are.
