Before

I'm having an eyelid operation tomorrow. My eyelids are so low they are starting to affect my sight, especially the left one which I can see as a shadow as I walk along. I'm a bit nervous.
I realised this was a possibility when I read an article by American quilter, Helen Kelley, describing how she had given up driving and some sewing when a friend said haven't you had the op then? She did and resumed normal life.
I hadn't reached that stage but thanks to the NHS I won't have to.
They won't do my brows but that is not an NHS procedure.
