During

This is me on my return from the hospital. Walking out of the hospital holding my husband's arm was very disorientating. Before I set off I thought I would walk out of the grounds and down the street to the car but soon realised this would be slow and tricky so sat on a bench and waited to be collected. Once home I managed very well finding my way everywhere but I am puzzled as to how blind people make meals or anything of that nature. We had sausage and mash, tomato and onion ragout and cabbage. Alan told me where things were on the plate. The sausages were the easiest. Occasionally I found there was nothing on my fork when I put it into my mouth but I cleared my plate without further help.
