1. The camera caught a vast number of reflections the old eyes had, subconsciously, filtered out.
and
2. I took it with the intention of linking to another one to show how much more understandable this one is/was: turns out that I took the other one and it never achieved Bliphood   :¬((

BTW Any vets out there? I caught the pigeon for a closer look at.
It looks as though its two mandibles are somehow fused, with the lower one curving down. When I caught and studied it, it appeared sealed. How the hell was it eating/surviving? Then I noticed its tongue flicker out through a hole apparently under its chin.
