Roman Speedometer?

Bit of a jaunt out to Keswick. Gaffer managed a pair of boots, which she's been hunting for yonks. In view of the in-house bacon famine I suggested we went home via a quick stop @ Rheged, where I spotted this one.
Seems I've not grown out of the "Collecting Car numbers" hobby we had as kids. Hands up all those (few) who remember when there were few enough cars around to be new-fangled with numbers.

BTW If you want a pretty good, BIG, reasonable, all-day breakfast in Keswick I wouldn't go past the Coffee Lounge Cafe abutting Bell Close Carp Ark.
