Under the Canopy...

Sunlight starting to rake into Grovely Wood, these tress lining a Roman Road, but now only used a bridleway and for limited access by those given permission by the Wilton Estate, on whose land the Wood is on.

A bit tricky handholding, a slight compromise between aperture, shutter speed and iso levels, but the VC (vibration compensation) facility on my Tamron SP 70-300mm helped keep it steady, even at 1/40 sec.

Looks pretty nice LARGE too...

Have (already!) spent part of my fee from the Fringe last weekend and now am happy owner of two Lexar Pro 32gb 400x SD cards and even better, a Nisi 77mm 10 stop ND filter. This will be used for both my 10-24mm and 17-35mm f2.8 lenses and am hoping for some interesting long exposure effects.

Thanks to all who've continually kept me up in the Spotlights, recently, the last two being fairly high up - it's, as always, much appreciated!

Hope and trust that you're all having a great weekend!
