Earthquake

Today we experienced an earthquake (in my case for the first time). A 6.4 quake some 30km to the west of Crete wobbled the ground and caused the pool waters to ripple. Google has many references to it. While it was over in a minute with no appreciable sign of damage - and while I have a short video of the pool trembling - it does not make for much of a blip. So instead a photo of the pool earlier as these birds dipped and swooped to drink the water. They moved so fast it was difficult to get a shot but this one is the best I could manage. Apart from the earth moving, a lovely day with temperatures in the mid 30s. It will be a shock going home next week.
