Blowing a gale

Straight after breakfast we headed out to Hartshead Pike, one of the main reasons for our trip up north, so hubbie could get some photos. Weather was not on our side...heavy rain and a biting cold wind. After getting soaked we decided against a walk and headed back to the car, found ourselves setting off towards Blackppol to catch up with some lovely friends we haven't seen for over a year. The rain clouds disappeared and the wind dropped the nearer to the coast we drove. Three good things 1. Waking up refresher end after a really great night sleep 2. Being thankful for warmth in the car after getting soaked 3. Lunch and chats with Keith & Myra
