Fair Isle and Accordion
Another lovely calm day with the weather.
Well another busy day in the life of a museum worker :) We're certainly not as busy as museum in London but since the 1st of October we've had over 4300 visitors in the door and that's great numbers for Shetland with a population of 24,000 :)
Certainly noticing the dark nights being back. Having to wear high-vis jackets again when walking out on country roads with Sammy dog tonight.
With the Shetland Wool Week on and now the Shetland Fiddle and Accordion Festival started, how do you combine them both? This lady did well at Hay's Dock outside the Shetland Museum by wearing Fair Isle knitting and playing the accordion :)
