Waiting game

Today was a full day with our son and his family. We started off by going to the rotunda and hearing the drummers which was an interactive program that the children could participate in, then to the museum, and then it was time to walk the square for the weekly farmer's market. There were street musician's and a woman who made animals out of balloons. There was a long line, but our grandchildren (as you can see) were very patient as they waited their turns and occupied themselves in a positive manner. At the end of the day, everyone was asked to tell their "rose" and "thorn" of the day.....no one had a thorn, and we all agreed that spending time with family was our "rose".
