Not the National Collection
The burning question is ... When/how did Montbretia become Crocosmia?
I think I have admitted to being a mild Plantaholic.
I have about 40 or so "Baby/prepubic" Clivias waiting for flowers.
My Fuchsia collection has grown from 1, grown from a cutting, last year to 11 in 5 different varieties this year.
Another of "our" things is Crocosmia, not that we've many ... yet.
The common or garden Montbretia, the ubiquitous "Lucifer" who nearly became Beelzebub while I desperately sought the memory banks, a delicate pink one who's name escapes me and one we lost the last one over winter DUH!
The latest member of the family is this lady CrocosmiaXcrocosmiflora "Emily McKenzie".
