Picture Perfect
Day 2 of our family trip. My mother wanted to take the train up to the top of Snowdon. Both my dad and I were against this idea. After doing some enquiring we realised we couldn't climb as we didn't have the correct clothes. Apparently hiking boots are not enough. I didn't mean climbing to the top...just a little so I can say I did a bit of climbing. Anyway, the weather was not the best either meaning if we did take the train we wouldn't have seen anything anyway as it was cloudy/misty, something like that. Double fail.
Headed to the slate museum instead. All the mountains around us were made from slate. I think the majority of slate in the UK comes from this area.
Then onto a place called Caernarfon which I believe is where Price Charles was coronated as the Prince of Wales. In Caernarfon castle that is.
And back to the cottage.
Also - pretty perfect timing don't you think?
