Some very late Swallows

Out looking for Thrushes I received a call from @darkpeakbirder a couple of Swallows in Old Glossop - hard to believe in such miserable weather but by the time I got there it was obvious there were more than just a couple in the end we counted 14 ! They seem to have gone in the afternoon after the weather improved a little. Good luck to them on the journey south at least they are travelling together. Oh yes and on the same day lots of Redwing were flying around and later we get some excellent views of Fieldfare the first of the Autumn.
