Longing landscape

I am now in a cab on the way home and thought I would pass the time by looking at some photos. Very few taken today because of the amount of traveling from west to east. Of the few photos I took, this one has marked a memory. Jan was giving us a ride to Silverlake to catch the 9am Kitsap Airporter which would deposit us at Seatac two hours later. As we pulled up to the pick-up point in front of the hotel, I saw a glimpse of this view and asked if I could take a few minutes to enjoy the view. 'Breathtaking' is about the only work that sums up the view. 'Longing' is about the only word that sums up the emotion. How I would love to live in open spaces such as these.
