Shades of green

Our Walnut tree has been budding for the past 10 days or so.

Liked the sun shining through the leaves together with the catkins, and the first developing walnut on the tree.

Last year we lost most of the crop to hail. Hoping there will no be a repeat loss this year, as would like to do some pickling again
