Potato flower...

...or Solanum is flowering beautifully when all around is somewhat bedraggled, faded and just not looking its best. This was planted last year and went on the Head Gardeners list of plants he felt weren't worth the space. In this instance, I won and keep telling him how wonderful it is and, of course, he simply has to agree with me!!
