Pink Penstemon

Still going strong after months of flowering these penstemons just looked great in the sunlight today. I'm hoping they will be around until the first frosts and will survive the winter.
Twenty six years ago tonight is the anniversary of the Hurrican Great Storm which hit south east England pretty badly. We were without phones and electricity for a week, schools were shut and roads out of the village were blocked. Seems like yesterday!
