OH, NO, NOT ANOTHER SUNSET
My excuse is that in the summer we hardly ever see the sunset because we lie in a bit of a basin surrounded by hills, but at this time of year we get a bit of a view. Just to the left of the image we had a lot of trees cut down today. `it doesn't improve the sunset view, but we have rediscovered there was a graveyard in there somewhere.
Rejoicing in the wonder of our local post office. After years of poor service, snappy post mistresses and awkward opening hours, we now have a facility in the local convenience store run by the loveliest of families to whom nothing seems a trouble. Today they saved me over £20 by offering to Sellotape under a margins of a pile of envelopes so they would go through at the cheaper rate. One Selloptaped while another one punched in the figures and stuck the stamps. And then they thanked me for the privilege of serving me. And they are open from 6 am to 9 pm.
