A beautiful day, a cloudless sky, temperatures of 21 degrees, so an afternoon trip to the Med! Pourquoi pas?

With an unfolding backdrop of the Pyrenees, our journey took us past vineyards, and through an ever-changing landscape until we reached the Mediterranean Sea and the medieval village of Gruissan.

Radiating out around its picturesque ruined castle, the Tour Barberousse, the village of Gruissan is home to a 14th century church. On the outside wall of the church, we found this beautiful, serene statue, glowing in the soft sunlight of the Mediterranean...
