I wanna feed myself, Mommy xxx
It was 9 o clock when Eva and I woke his morning. She had woken a few times in the night, which is normal for her at the moment, so it's always good when she then sleeps til 9 hehe. Plus this blooming cough is getting beyond a joke, I did actually nearly cry last night as it just would not stop.
I wonder whether Eva waking more at night lately is a developmental thing, as she is chattering away a lot more now than before. She's still not a massive chatterbox, but she is definitely chattering more. Just one change I've noticed in her of late.
I also think she may be teething. I can't see any teeth, but she's showing some of the signs... Dribbling, nappy rash, off her food, very clingy, slightly pink in the cheeks. I just give her cuddles whenever she wants them, and try to hold off on the Calpol til things seem really bad, cos otherwise I'd be giving it her every day, and I'm not sure that's good for her long term.
We just generally chilled today at home. We did nip out to Pets At Home and B & Q (we finally bought the curtain pole for her bedroom) but the next delay is that her curtains are wayyyy too long, so we need to wait til Mike has fitted the pole, then Aunty Jean will kindly come round and measure up for the adjustments and do them for us. So maybe another couple of weeks.
Did Eva another batch of roast chicken dinners for the freezer today after our Sunday lunch. Have got a 3 weeks supply now of chicken, potato, cauliflower, broccoli, carrot and cabbage. Some days she wolfs it down, other days she barely touches it. But one thing stays the same, she enjoys feeding herself her fruit afterwards, plums and kiwis still being her firm favourites. Xxx
