Michs memoirs

By mdemaat

10 hours of classes today. That's just about as much as I would have in Newcastle in one day. But it was a good day. I had my first Portuguese class in the evening which was strange, as it's a French/Portuguese lesson, so no English whatsoever. I understood everything perfectly well but realised that I'm lacking quite a bit of grammar and vocabulary. I don't really want to drop to the level below though as that would be too easy and I'd get bored, so I'd rather be a little challenged. It just means I'll need to put a little extra effort into it at home. Arriving home, I wasn't sure anymore what language to speak... English? French? Portuguese? Aaaahh!!

I got back and had another little parcel lying on my bed, from another lovely lady back in Newcastle. Yorkshire tea (YESSS!! - they've got one of the best TV adverts by the way) and more chocolate... actually exactly what I needed after a long day. Love it! Thanks Coz! I'm so spoiled and blessed with some amazing friends.
