Shelfish

Other 'epic fails' this week included an enormous crash from the kitchen leaving Anna holding up the middle of these three shelves and completely surrounded, almost ankle deep, in shattered glass splinters. As the screws wrenched themselves from the crumbling ancient Edwardian plaster of the wall they deposited an entire shelf of glass biscuit/pasta/general storage jars. Amazingly feet were still in tact although we lost almost every jar and the glass could be found pretty much as far away as the front door. Finally today I got some 100mm frame fixings and drilled through into the solid brick behind. (It's only taken a week).
