Three Blue Stitches

After a bit of a fight with the NHS, I finally had my latest head-lump out. The more technical term is 'cyst'. I've had two cut out in the past, but apparently NHS cuts now mean that these are 'cosmetic procedures', which is just ridiculous as something cosmetic surely wouldn't cause pain? Anyway, they took on board my argument and agreed to do it; meaning I didn't have to pay the £200 private clinic costs. It took 50 minutes as the cyst went deeper than they'd been expecting; the best part was when the doctor cut the lump in half to show me the inside. I'd had this one for about six years, so it's good to have it out. For now though I've got a sore head and bloody hair that I can't wash until the weekend.
