Yey Thom is here! And yes, I know that this is not a picture of Thom, instead the picture of our noticeboard. To cut a long story short, one of our flatmates is part of Warwick Pride and gave us a booklet that they had not put out on their stall at the societies fair because it was possibly too graphic. I think he thought we were just going to look at the pictures and giggle (because what isn’t funny about Action Men with painted on tattoos in sexual positions?!) rather than going into full detail with the text and then cutting out the pictures for our board. I personally think it brightens up the room…

So after a few travel issues getting to Warwick (including the coach breaking down on the way!) Thom arrived only to be dragged out to a Floorball session. Not that he minded, he was actually scouted for the team by one of the members! So Floorball, what is it? Think a hybrid of hockey and ice-hockey, played indoors with a light plastic ball and ice-hockey esque sticks. No padding really needed, although the ball can give you a nasty bruise if it hits you straight on! A very fast paced and fun game, well worth trying, although I think the only places that actually do it seriously are Warwick and Bath university. Maybe you can tell me otherwise!

Anyhows, in the evening Claire and Ste came over to join everyone in the kitchen for drinks, followed by Chandru a little later. Thom and I have to go back to Leicester tomorrow for another family event, so had to have an early night!
