Weather Vane, Stirling Golf Club

Another rather grey day weather wise, but I had a good lunch time meet up with some colleagues I worked with at the University, one of whom is moving on to a new post in Edinburgh.
It was therefore a quick walk around the golf course afterwards with the dog and in search of a blip. Some time ago I started to blip objects and places I pass regularly and I noticed today this weather vane on top of the club house. I could find no information about its origin but did learn via Google that the King's Park golf course was designed in the 1960s by Henry Cotton. You learn something every day!
