Wincher's Stance

This superb bronze statue can be seen in the concourse of Buchanan Street Bus Station in Glasgow. It takes its name from the local word "winching" meaning courting and depicts a young couple greeting each other , presumably after a period apart ( or are they saying good-bye?).
It is a very detailed piece and I have frequently done a double take on it as it is very life like. The piece was sculpted by John Clinch.
