#23. The Only Ones - Another Girl, Another Planet.

... Aaaand I escaped to Imke's just before going back to Uni ! First time in Cologne and in Germany ever. It is another planet, so close to France and yet so different, I only spent two days there but I am definitly going back. Cool atmosphere, cool people, great memories to tell. I want more !

She told me she didn't like this picture but I realized afterwards it was the only one I took of her during my stay... so Imke I hope you don't hate me too much for uploading it ! But anyway, she is staring at Cologne from one of the city's highest towers, obviously you can't see anything here but I can tell you that it's quite neat, especially at that time of the day. Just before we had 'some nice German beers' (as she called them) by the riverside and afterwards we had crepes in a little Frenchy-Italian restaurant (my French pride would tell me there is a contradiction here but my tommy disagrees, they were a-ma-zing), before heading to a Russian bar where I tried 9 degrees beers, yes man. Am I always talking about food and drinks ? Maybe.

This summer was full of amazing moments in amazing cities with amazing people. No big trip to the other side of the world, but many little and simple things. Brighton, London, Nice, Grenoble, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Paris, Orléans and Cologne. But that evening seems like the perfect end to it. And I'm not saying that because of the 9 degrees beers - although I still dream about them - but because I was with such a good friend who made it so special.

Next chapter can be opened now :)
