Toasty

Toasty crumpets. One of my favourite things to eat for breakfast. They have to be cooked under the grill though and not toasted in the toaster. Smooth side first until it’s nice and crunchy and then the holey side, done until it’s just golden brown. Spread some lovely butter and Mmmmmmmmmm. When I was a little girl my Dad used to toast them on the fire with a toasting fork but I have no fire (or toasting fork) so my way is the next best thing.

The coffee is Igor’s. I have tea but the coffee cup was more aesthetically pleasing.
