Ten Green Bottles

We’re not drinkers Igor and I. We used to drink plenty of wine, him more than me, but we just don’t do it any more. However, when we do fancy a tipple we are very partial to a glass of champagne. A nice demi-sec is favourite. Because we try to stick to just one glass we usually buy half bottles rather than full size (that usually gives us one and a half glasses each but who's counting).

When we were on our way back from France recently we bought a dozen half bottles of this rather nice demi-sec. Here’s what’s left of them. 10 green bottles................. another one might be falling tonight!!!
