Pacific Paddler

Top of R's list of things to do on Route 66 was paddle in the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica - so had to go with this.

Spent quite a bit of time there - most of it on the pier - where we watched the circus school trapeze pupils going through their paces - safety net included - pelicans diving in to sea for fish - their beaks really can hold a lot - and lots of tourists getting in my way with their cameras.

Glad to be out of LA - drove through Beverley Hills and Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard - now staying overnight at Glendora - just outside San Bernadino.

What with R driving - me navigating - what could possibly go wrong with the remaining 1950 miles
