Little Life

Some life today. I guess from the Blue Mountains lately one can expect all manner of smokey hazy fiery photos, but instead I've gone with this: Missy-moo's carrots just poking above the soil. Perhaps the Dreaded Green Fringe (rather than Dreaded Purple Fringe, amusingly) is appropriate for this nascent bit of greenery.

There was another stuck cicada.

There was a lovely red rose.

There was a flower before the column of smoke.

But I'm sticking with the carrots.

Larger tiny plants.

We took a trip out to donate a bunch of clothes, toiletries - and protein bars for the fire-fighters.
