Words

A wet, cold very miserable day as regards to the weather here in Perth today, it felt like a winters day..
We went out for a drive not knowing where we were heading, we drove through Fremantle and onto woodmans point a nature reserve Glyn used to manage in his c.a.l.m days, we spent a bit of time there.
On the way home we called into the Port at Fremantle.
I thought the "Welcome Wall" just outside the Maritime Museum would make an interesting "Words" topic, if you go large here you can read the words.
There are numerous walls with every migrants name, the date they arrived and the ship they embarked off.
I won't need to say anymore, except how much easier these days it is for Migrants to come here.
we only had a miserable wet day to complain about.
The words certainly made us pause for thought.
