Penistone to Pendle
Turned out to be lovely autumn sunshine mid afternoon so we took Reggie up on to Penistone Hill. Mr H's knee is improving so we can stray from well maintained paths a little more now so our repertoire of walks is increasing again.
The sun was highlighting various fields here there and every where today and it was really a delight to be up there. I just love the views over towards Hebden Bridge from up there, probably my favourite part of Britain! However todays blip is the view up the Sladen Valley with Lower Laithe Reservoir in the fore ground, Ponden reservoir in the distance and Pendle Hill on the horizon.
Out this evening with me playing in a concert at Wilsden Village Hall and Mr&Miss H coming to listen, so whilst Mr H and Reggie sleep off their walk I am blipping so that I can relax this evening and enjoy the performance!
