The kindness of strangers

Today we received a parcel that was completely unexpected. Someone I met through a parenting site asked if Alex would like a postcard from her daughter who has recently finished treatment for Leukaemia.

She sent us fudge, tablet, some sweets from Orkney, lots of postcards, a Nessie hat, and a sweet little Scottie dog (which Alex is here cuddling).

Amazing.
