If you listen to Simon Mayo on BBC Radio 2, or live around St. Albans then you may have heard this story.

This is Will.
He is a vicar in the Diocese of St Albans.

His aim between Yesterday morning and 5pm on Monday is to get as far from St Albans as possible, and back again.

He is raising funds for 5 charities and cannot pay for anything en route.

So when I saw him at Lancaster services this morning I had no hesitation in taking him to Carlisle.

On arrival at the service area just south of Carlisle I got everyone's attention to try and get him a lift further north.
