This one's a bit random (and looks awful with the flash)! I really would like a decent camera on my next phone, not much to ask for surely?!

Craig & I went for a meal last night with Mam & Dad and we realised that all four of us were wearing glasses. The meal was really nice, we tried out the new Italian restaurant that has opened in the village. The owners are lovely, will be going back again :)

Today we went to the Bagle Brook which is a beefeater restaurant. Dad decided to go there as we were going to be driving back to Cardiff and it's in Port Talbot so we were already going to be travelling in the right direction. We all sat down and took our glasses off again, so I snapped a photo. Daniel was at uni this weekend but he wears glasses too.

While eating I had a text from Emma to confirm that we were definitely going to be picking Minerva up today and that she hadn't escaped again like last weekend! So we went to the nearby Lidl to pick up cat litter and a few treats. Drove straight to Emma' and loaded the car up with the food she had bought for Minerva. We're essentially fostering Minerva until Christmas so she's continuing to pay for the food and other bits.

It was so cute listening to Craig talking to Minerva in the car on the way home! He held the cat basket on his lap while I drove us home, as we live less than 5 minutes away by car. He was telling her that she was going to live with Aunty Sara and Uncle Craig but that Mummy Emma would be coming to visit her often :)

After sorting out the litter tray quickly we let her out of the carrier in the spare room which has been all ready & waiting for her since last weekend. We left her alone for the first hour so that she could explore and then I went up to see her alone so that she could get used to me. Gave her a few treats and plenty of attention when she was willing to have it. Then Craig spent a little while with her before bedtime, then we left her in the spare room again so that she can get used to just the one room & all the smells before we overwhelm her with the rest of the house!
