Portobello Beach.

Mrs TD had patchwork business to attend to in Portobello today so we went there with some of the dogs. We thought we'd walk them on the beach while the weather was still dry; within five minutes it was hissing down so we dumped them back in the car and found the exhibition where herself made contact with the secretary and then, business completed, we looked at the works on show. There were, as always, some very good pieces and I had a chat with a lady about the finer points of patchwork photography; if you see this, it was nice talking to you and here is a link to the first of the exhibits that caught my eye, another four can be seen by clicking on the right side of the picture.

After lunch at a little cafe on the sea front, we had a second go at walking the dogs as the weather had brightened up and I took a couple of pictures of the beach with its rather dramatic sky.
