Happy Chaos

It's been a belter of a day here, the first real taste of summer. The Eldest spent the day at a friend's birthday party, and the Youngest had a local pal over for the day. I went and picked up one of my nieces for her to spend the afternoon with us as her two sisters were both off to birthday parties. My brother and sister in law spent today at the hospital, so it was nice to have a bit of normal for the kids.

We decided to celebrate the Husband's birthday today instead of tomorrow, cos who really wants a Monday birthday. We had his and my parents, plus my brother, sister in law and nieces here...my nephew is still in hospital, but his mother stayed with him tonight.

The kids decided to play Twister. Pack of cheats!
