Not for human consumption
These little blighters have popped up all over one area of our lawn. Not had them before but willing to put money on it that I cannot saute them in a pan with a little bit of butter and have them for breakfast.
I presume they are of the toadstool family rather than the mushroom and the most intriguing thing is how they came to be here. I would think that their spores are carried on the wind but would like to know what makes my bit of lawn such a nice place to be as this year is no different from any previous year.
That and the fact that they are so small makes we wonder if there are minature fairies using them as a seat in the dead of night.
