Half marathon

Today Mark was taking part in the Birmingham half marathon (aka BUPA Great Birmingham Run) raising money for the Cystuc Fibrosis Trust. I had been informed that my presence at the finish line was required hence the weekend trip back into town. There were c.20,000 competitors and the city centre was packed with their friends and family - every coffee bar and eating establishment was rammed. I sought refuge in the Library (again) and found a cafe which had no queue. This was taken from the balcony - the Hyatt Hotel was pretty much at the finish line.
