The explorer

Today was one of those productive days that ends and you feel like you haven't done a thing! Started with the boy sleeping in a bit later than usual, then we left daddy to have a giant lay in while we did some reading and some "colouring" (that is whacking, drawing and rubbing the crayon on paper while I tried to persuade him that the cat wasn't really a fan of being force fed crayon...).

After lunch the boys headed out to do grocery shopping while I built a website, and then we decided to stretch our legs with a nice walk in the woodland. We let him walk on reins for the first time today which was amusing, tiny bat wings over his bear jumper with a strap attached to Olis hand, all with a cat trailing behind! We raised many an eyebrow with the local dog walkers of the area as he was shouting "dee dee deeee" with glee and chuckling like a loon.

When we got to the woods he was so busy picking up handfuls of leaves, sticks, acorns and anything else he could find on the floor. We let him crawl, sit and lay down and he just had a whale of a time. This was taken as he bashed a tree with a large stick, "banbanbannnn" (or bang bang bang to those of you who doesn't speak fluent Noah).

Tea time with nanny was lovely and he wolfed down his dinner, he then raided her chocolate box and stole three! It was hilarious, he was absolutely covered in chocolate dribble and having a lovely time, then realised he was caught in the act and immediately held the offending chocolate to my mouth to "share" it :) Legend.

Nice day, I'm absolutely pooped though!
