Rehearsals have started again for this year's Christmas show, by the amateur theatre company to which my wife is attached. She's a bit ambivalent with the idea: it's a lot of fun, but the sheer amount of rehearsals does eat into her time. Especially Sundays. The kids and I went along to today's rehearsals, but I'm not sure if they will want to go to every one being planned.

There are lighter moments, of course. This is one of the cast members trying out a costume found in the wardrobe. I thought it would be more amusing if he was to pretend to be studying the script.
