A day spent at East Links Farm and it's fair to say the kids had a great time. I don't think they actually learned anything to do with animals as the place was really a souped-up play park, but they got plenty of fresh air and exercise.

I bumped into a fellow visitor who was using an impressive looking EOS 1DX. We compared photographic notes, but it quickly became apparent he was in another level. He said he got that new camera for his trips to the Arctic photographing the wildlife there with his collection of monster telephoto primes. Still good to see him using said camera for photographing his family as well.

This shot was taken while the staff were packing things away for the day. Our daughter volunteered to help this subject move the karts from the track, and she seemed grateful for the assistance. The evening light was pretty good at this point, and she was well positioned in front of the slightly over the top wooden fortress.
