Autumn

We have definitely arrived home to autumn. Verging on winter. Without a shadow of a doubt.

4am get up from Miss Katie. So we were one of the first in the doors of the swimming pool when it opened at 8. She did some absolutely fantastic swimming on her front and her back this morning. More than a dozen widths without putting her feet down. She then asked to go get scrambly eggs. I felt that was a reasonable request - and to her credit she made light work of it.

I had a session in the woods this morning which Katie came along to. She had a little time in the mei tai before coming out to play in the leaves and logs. We stopped at the shops before cycling home for a quiet couple of hours. We headed back out mid afternoon, getting a taxi due to my "my body thinks it is 9pm" exhaustion setting in and soon brightened up. We did some conkering, we kicked the leaves, we followed the cows. We then headed to get a babyccino and a sandwich before walking home. Katie managed to eat most of her tea before taking herself off to the sofa and promptly falling deep asleep. We *will* crack this jetlag sooner or later!
