Fungi in the park

Quite close to where we found the conkers in Cutteslowe Park last Saturday, many fungi were growing prolifically in the grass by the flowerbeds.

I thought that they made a nice group for a photograph to capture the essence of autumn. But I have a feeling they are not for eating......
