Cataract surgery, Jibon Tari floating hospital

These women can see again following cataract surgery on board IMPACT's Jibon Tari floating hospital in Bangladesh.

There are more than 700 rivers in Bangladesh, so a hospital boat is an ideal way to reach impoverished communities. Since 1999, over 25,000 people have had their sight restored on board.
