Last day of the holidays and tradition is tradition - fast day or not! Hot chocolate and a fresh cream scone and jam, whilst I sipped delicately on my iced water with a slice of lemon. Please note that I do not have finger nails bitten to the quick, although I do have hideous finger nails as a result of my love of earth. These fingernails belong to my boy.

It has taken me the entire holidays to tidy out the smallest room in the house. The maid's room is now perfectly clean and tidy and vacant of servant.
