The Dalmeny foreshore.

My sister and her boys are up for a week's holiday staying with my Mum and Dad's so we decided to head down to Dalmeny foreshore for a walk along to the beach area opposite Hound Point - the weather was not great today - forecast was for it to be dry all day but as usual "They got it wrong..."

However we managed to get a wee game of French cricket on the beach - a few jumps from the dunes - paddle in the water and a walk along a tree lined avenue - a great day and the bonus...as my sister said "It was all for free!!"

This shot was taken just before the walk started - just loved the way the colours in the leaves are turning at this time of year - a great start to the afternoon's walk.

Heading out to a carvery for tea ..... which will be great.....and what's even better....the kids are back to school tomorrow !!
